10 Years Scheuch LIGNO: A Success to Be Proud Of

Also invited were the Scheuch family, the management board and supervisory board of the Scheuch Group, as well as long-standing companions who, together with Managing Director Alois Burgstaller, had plenty to share about the origins and development of Scheuch LIGNO. What began about ten years ago as a bold idea has grown into a success story that is hard to match: in recent years, Scheuch LIGNO has developed into one of the leading specialists in extraction, conveying, disposal and surface technology. At the time, becoming independent was a visionary move — aiming to establish the wood division as a standalone entity, perfectly aligned with its specific requirements.

Looking back, Alois Burgstaller, Managing Director of Scheuch LIGNO, recalls the early days working from a container office in Mehrnbach, the new production facilities, and the numerous successful projects. Behind each of these milestones stands the dedicated Scheuch LIGNO team. Whether it is major contracts in the timber industry or the expansion into new sectors and continents — all of these achievements are the result of outstanding teamwork. Without the commitment, motivation and solidarity of every individual, this success would not have been possible.
