Problem-free separation of light materials

Insulants pose particular challenges to extraction and conveying systems. Due to their bulk weight usually being very low at up to 25 kg/m³, separation capacity in the filter is particularly in demand. Scheuch LIGNO filter systems are all equipped with the TOP-DOWN effect that is particularly important for separating the material. The separated material can be disposed of in several ways, both pneumatically and mechanically or using the Scheuch LIGNO tried and tested briquetting press.

Insulants such as rock wool, mineral wool or glass wool have very different demands on extraction. The degree of wear is the main difference. Scheuch LIGNO therefore works with different application-specific approaches. Thanks to our decades of experience, Scheuch LIGNO knows those areas in the system very well, in which you must prepare in order to obtain optimised results. Therefore, the Scheuch LIGNO filter series partially used special materials to minimise the wear. The service lives for the duct and bends are extended using greater wall thicknesses, plastic coatings or cast basalt in particularly problematic cases. Furthermore, our decades of experience have enabled us to collect further individual support approaches for our customers.
