Ventilation & heat recovery

In the Scheuch LIGNO chip and welding fume extraction systems, the cleaned exhaust air is checked continuously using a broken bag sensor. The H3 certification mark guarantees a residual dust quantity of less than 0.1 mg/m³ on the one hand and, on the other hand, the costs for the initial measurement and recurring measurements no longer arise.

The exhaust air cleaned in this manner can be returned to the hall as return air. Axial fans are used for this and they adjust the return air quantity to the actual air quantity that has been extracted. Automatic temperature regulation controls the fresh air proportion. If outdoor temperatures are high, the hall is supplied with a large amount of outside air. This therefore guarantees a well-adjusted air balance at all times. In certain cases such as particularly clod regions or low halls, the return air can be heated additionally using an external energy source.

The air can also be guided through heat exchanger systems that recover up to 80 % of the heat energy if required. This is the case, for example, if odorous substances are present and they prevent the air being returned to the hall directly. The heat energy can be returned to the hall via the return
